I-PhD

I-PhD is a French innovation grant program by Bpifrance supporting recent PhDs (within three years of thesis defense) who want to commercialize public research results through startup creation. The program focuses on developing and marketing products or services with strong technological innovation, with support from Technology Transfer Structures. It targets early-stage researchers seeking to transform academic research into market-ready innovations.

Any young Doctor (year of the thesis and up to three years after the defence) who wishes to promote research results (from a public research laboratory) with the aim of creating a startup to develop and market a product or service with strong technological innovation and as such accompanied by a Technology Transfer Structure.
